Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed in 7 days and delivery confirmed by way of email notification with booking number, waybill number, and follow up contact details. All items are shipped using a local courier company with shipping insurance. We will communicate any unavoidable delays, and keep customers informed of progress.
Whilst delivery times are given in good faith and we will endeavour to comply therewith, no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage incurred by the customer, on account of a delay arising out of circumstances beyond our control, which circumstances will include, but not limited to:
The provision of goods and services by 4Months is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, we will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee.
Regrettably, we don’t offer refunds under any circumstances. We will however offer a credit for the same amount, provided there’s no damage or wear and tear. Items ordered from our website can be returned in their original packaging, within 7 working days of receipt for a credit note. If there is damage, we’ll deduct whatever amount is necessary from the credit amount to cover the cost of restoring the piece to its original state. However, if the damage is beyond repair, no credit will be allocated.
Please notify us within the 7 day period in order for us to record the expected return via courier.
All items must be returned via courier at the expense of the customer, and the delivery charges on the original order will not be refunded.
4Months warrants that the devices which have been supplied by the Company and delivered to the Customer shall be free from defects and subject to the following:
The warranty is effective for a period of 7 days. The date is determined from date of delivery and the Customer will be entitled to either request a refund; replacement or repair of goods if goods are defective within such period. However the defect will need to be proven to be as a direct result of prior action or inaction on the part of 4Months. The defective item will be inspected and assessed at the 4Months workshop, where a ruling will be made. If it is established that 4Months was at fault in delivering a defective item of a device, it shall be replaced without question. If the fault is a result of fair wear and tear, or accidental/unknown damage, every effort will be made to remedy the matter in the Customers best interests. This will involve repair and/or possible replacement at the Customers cost.
However the warranty shall immediately be rendered null and void in the event of the following:
Visible damage or evidence of applied force to change or compromise the integrity of the item; / any alterations or modifications made to the devices supplied, without the prior consent of 4Months; / Failure to use devices in accordance with the instructions and specifications of 4Months; / General misuse and abuse of goods by the Client; / Any damage caused by fire, flood, civil disturbance or act of God; / The devices supplied have not been inspected by a technical expert in order to evaluate/determine the reason for the defects in the device, before the client requested its replacement, repair or refund.
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners Cards or by bank transfer into the 4Months bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card transactions will be acquired for 4Months via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR)
4Months is responsible for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
All accounts older than 30 days will be handed over for collection and the customer will be liable to pay all legal fees with regard to the collection of such outstanding amounts on a fees scale as determined by the court of law/tribunal where the collection matter will be adjudicated.
