How do Lay-Bys work?
Our Lay-By facility allows you to pay off your product over a time frame not more than 4 months. How often you make a deposit and of how much is determined by you. Once we have received payment of the full purchase price, as set out in the schedule will you recieve your product. The goods will not be delivered to you and you will not become the owner thereof until you have paid the full purchase price for the goods. The goods will remain at our risk until you have accepted delivery of them. There is no interest or extra charges associated with this payment option.
Am I eligible for credit?
- You will need to
- have a valid South African ID number,
- be at least 18 years of age,
- have an existing valid bank account in your name and
- be able to provide your most recent 3 months bank statements which show your salary deposits.
- Note: You must also be able to pay an in-app deposit if required by the participating merchants
How much can I borrow and how long can I borrow it for?
We will loan you up to R8 000 to pay for your goods. If you are making a purchase for more than R8 000 through one of our participating merchants, you will be able to pay us a deposit and we will then settle the merchant directly for your full basket value.
You can choose to repay in 1 month up to a maximum of 3 months, whichever suits you best.
I missed a deal, can I still get it?
If we have extra stock of the item then yes. Please mail us on HELLO@4MONTHS.CO.ZA for more information.
How do I return product if I am not satisfied?
Email HELLO@4MONTHS.CO.ZA and we’ll sort something out if it’s within 5 days of receipt of the item at the delivery address. You will be requested to supply your order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the detailed problem with the item.
How long does delivery take?
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed in 7 days and delivery confirmed by way of email notification with booking number, waybill number, and follow up contact details. All items are shipped using a local courier company with shipping insurance. We will communicate any unavoidable delays, and keep customers informed of progress.
Do you offer support and a repair centre if anything happens to my product?
Yes, if your product is out of warranty we can assist with Screen Replacements, Charging, Audio or Signal Problems, Water / Liquid Damaged Devices, Software and Errors. All out of warranty repairs will be quoted for prior to the device or handset being repaired. Should the quote be rejected please note that a quote rejection fee will apply of R175.00 including 15% VAT.
